2008 Criteria for Selection

Eligibility

• Operational for a minimum of three years 
• Be in good standing with the State of Maryland
• Located in the Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia
• 2007 TOP100 MBE winners can not apply this year

Entrepreneurship

• Success of business
• Has introduced a new product, process or service
• Demonstrates a history of significant and worthwhile contributions to                                       his or her profession
  

Professionalism

• Active involvement and leadership with business an professional organizations
• Demonstrates client satisfaction in Maryland
• Serves as mentor to others

Community Contributions

• Contributes significant time and effort to the community through volunteer                organizations, schools or church activities
